How do I remove extension from Firefox Part 2

In order to complete the removal of your New Tab program, you may need to remove the supporting application from your computer. Please follow the directions below for your operating system.

Windows XP

1. From your computer's Start button, select Settings, then Control Panel.
2. Double-click on Add/Remove Programs.
3. Select entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer.  The name will match what is displayed on your browser.
4. Click Remove.
5. You must reboot your computer to completely remove the toolbar.

Windows Vista

1. From your computer's Start button, select Control Panel.
2. Double-click on Programs and Features.    
3. Select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer.  The name will match what is displayed on your browser. 
4. Click Remove.
5. You must reboot your computer to completely remove the toolbar.

Windows 7

1. From your computer's Start button, select Control Panel.
2. Click the Uninstall a Program option found under the Programs category
3. Select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer.  The name will match what is displayed on your browser.
4. Click Remove.
5. You must reboot your computer to completely remove the toolbar. 

Windows 8 and 8.1

1. On your computer's keyboard, press and hold the   key (Windows key) and press the X key.  
2. From the menu that appears select Control Panel. 
3. In the left column under the Programs section, find and click Uninstall a program.  
4. Select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer.  The name will match what is displayed on your browser. 
5. Click Uninstall.
6. You must reboot your computer to completely remove the toolbar. 

Windows 10

1. On the Start menu select Settings.
2. Select System>Apps & Features.
3. Select the program, and then select Uninstall.
4. Follow the directions on the screen.
5. You must reboot your computer to completely remove the program.
