There are two easy ways to remove one of our toolbars/add-ons from your Firefox browser.
From the toolbar:
Did you know that you can remove a Mindspark toolbar/add-on directly from the toolbar itself? Here's how:
- Click on the tools icon found on the far right of our toolbar.
- From the dropdown menu select Toolbar Options. You can generally find the Uninstall <toolbar name> link here under Toolbar Options. Click it to start the removal process. Please note not all toolbar's will have the Toolbar Options section. Regardless of the wording you will find the Uninstall option in this menu.
- On the confirmation dialog you will find we make it super easy to restore your browser's homepage and/or default search settings back to their previous settings if we changed them. Simply leave the box(es) checked and click "OK."
- Restart your browser and you should be all set.
Uninstall via Firefox Add-ons menu:
Please note: Firefox has changed the layout of their browse. We have provided instructions for both the new layout and the older layout below.
- Newer Versions of Firefox:

- Click the button with three horizontal lines found at the top right of your Firefox browser (If you do not see the three horizontal lines, please scroll to the directions for older versions).
- Select Addons from the dropdown menu.
- Make sure the Extensions tab is selected on the left side of the screen. Find the toolbar you are looking to remove. Please note that the toolbar/add-on will not be listed under the brand Ask.com. The name will match what is displayed on your browser (example Filmfanatic, FromDocToPDF, Weatherblink, etc). Need help finding your toolbar name/brand?. In our example below we are removing the FromDocToPDF toolbar/addon.
- Click the Remove button.
- On the confirmation dialog you will find we make it super easy to restore your browser's homepage and/or default search settings back to their previous settings if we changed them. Simply leave the box(es) checked and click "OK."
- Restart Firefox. You should be all set!
- Older Versions of Firefox:

- At the top of the Firefox browser, click on the Firefox button, and select Add-ons. If your menu does not look like the image below, look for and click the Tools menu option and select Add-ons.
- Make sure the Extensions tab is selected on the left side of the screen. Find the toolbar you are looking to remove. Please note that the toolbar/add-on will not be listed under the brand Ask.com. The name will match what is displayed on your browser (example Filmfanatic Toolbar, CouponAlert Toolbar, Weatherblink Toolbar, etc). Need help finding your toolbar name/brand?
- Click the Remove button.
- On the confirmation dialog you will find we make it super easy to restore your browser's homepage and/or default search settings back to their previous settings if we changed them. Simply leave the box(es) checked and click "OK."
- Restart Firefox. You should be all set!
